Huboo Wins Top Sparkies Award!

Huboo has won the ‘Best Scale-Up’ award at this year’s Sparkies tech event.

The Huboo team is thrilled to announce we have won the coveted ‘Best Scale-up’ award at this year’s Sparkies ceremony.

Our win reflects the continued awards success Huboo has experienced since being founded in 2017. This achievement was possible thanks to the hard work of our staff and the revolutionary hub model we use in our data driven warehouses which uses an employee-focused approach to solving challenges many presented by the ecommerce fulfilment industry.

The full stack software solution offered by Huboo gives warehouse staff greater personal control of their daily duties compared to the set-up of other fulfilment companies to create a system where productivity and trust exists for employees and clients alike.   

Huboo founder Martin Bysh has explained the Huboo approach: “we constantly strive to make Huboo a great place to work […] our leaders at Huboo really encourage people to have fun at work. We are all here for seven, eight or nine hours a day so if we can’t or don’t have fun it’s going to suck.”

This human approach has been greatly valued by Huboo staff, especially during the pandemic when business has continued. Martin states: “It’s been an incredibly difficult 18 months, but we’ve been quite lucky in that we are in a sector that has flourished during this period.

In addition to our Sparkies win, the Huboo team hosted the recent Bristol Tech Festival’s closing celebration party where industry experts were invited to the stylish, modern Huboo offices in the centre of Bristol where they were able to connect with each other over a glass of wine and reflect on a successful week of tech-based showcases.

The rapid rise of Huboo is in part due to how its unique hub model adapts to the needs of a wide variety of e-commerce businesses, with support particularly available to small and medium sized companies that can utilise this resource to compete against larger enterprises and merchants on the global stage.

The appeal of the Huboo model has allowed the business to expand its team to hundreds of staff, with plans for a further 200-300 to be hired across the South-West in the coming months.
