At Huboo we like to explore the ambitions and interests of all our Huboo team. As part of a new regular feature, we’re going behind the scenes of Huboo to reveal the thoughts and views of our hard-working team members. This week, we’re heading to our Netherlands warehouse to meet Hub Manager Barbara Brazzarotto, who joined the team in July 2021.
A typical day at Huboo is never actually typical, because every day is different with something new to learn and figure out. It’s fun!
Before Huboo I worked as a sales assistant back home in Brazil for a company that provided housing for expats.
On my first visit to the Huboo premises, I could see that it was definitely a great place to work, with plenty of potential to grow. Everyone was super nice and the whole focus of the business really spoke to me.
My passion is cooking for the people I love.
I love that more than just being colleagues, at Huboo we are truly a family. Everyone is always ready to help you, and this makes all the difference in a workplace. Every day I learn something new, whether it’s work-related information, or just some facts about the many cultures we share here thanks to our diverse work force. I’m always thrilled to come to work.
I want to go to a Formula 1 race.
To be a great Hub Manager you must be very attentive, very responsible, and open to learning new things, because after all, you’re dealing with someone else’s business interests. Most importantly of all though, you need to be a team player.
That’s a hard one, but I always rewatch Eat, Pray and Love, mostly for the eat part, haha.
