What is a typical working day at Huboo like for you?
First of all, I have to check my emails as I might get response or questions from candidates. It’s really important to maintain clear, concise communications to give them a great experience as applicants. I have a daily meeting with the EU team to stay updated, and to create an action plan for ongoing projects.
I like to keep my days fun, so I try to participate in different projects. I could be at the warehouse, in meetings with my team, in contact with external candidates, or helping with People & Culture initiatives… no day is the same for me!
What did you do before working at Huboo?
I used to be a Store Manager for a large restaurant chain here in Madrid.
What attracted you to working for Huboo?
I wanted to focus on the human side of the business as it’s more related to my previous studies. However, I must admit, when I heard about the company, the vision and the way Huboo treats their staff, I wanted to be part of a company like this. It’s the right way of doing business, with humancentricity!
Outside of work, what are your passions?
I love traveling. I try to discover a new place whenever I have the chance. I also love reading, my lovely dog and fashion (there is always time for shopping!).
What skills do you need to be a great Talent Acquisition Coordinator?
I would say empathy, charisma, a deep understanding of the business, being able to work under pressure, being organized, and last but not least; respect for the candidate’s journey.
What’s your favourite movie and why?
Pride and prejudice. It’s a romantic classic and I find that the manners and elegance of that era really interesting and charming.
What advice would you give someone who is considering working at Huboo?
Go for it! It’s a really great place to work, the experience we are gaining is priceless.
