Megumi received her undergraduate degree from Columbia College and Columbia University, before earning her master’s degree at UCLA Anderson School. She started her career in Tokyo as a reporter for Dow Jones, and later became International Business Manager for Wired magazine in San Francisco.  

Megumi subsequently moved into corporate M&A, with distribution deals at NBCUniversal. She progressed through the business to eventually run the European arm of the Peacock Equity Fund, GE Capital and NBCUniversal’s venture fund.
